Lights Off?
If your lamppost light goes out, or you see a non-working
one in the neighborhood, call a Board member. There are
several volunteers who will replace the bulb for you at no
charge.
Wednesday Night Movie at 7:15 at the Ramada
This week's film is The Bucket List. Two terminally
ill men (Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman) leave their
hospital ward and set out to complete a list of things they
want to do before they die.
Thanks to Jane and Eric Ellingson for
sponsoring this event.
Ants Are Here
Jim Copeland reminds us that ants are most
active at this time of year. If you want to control ants on
your property, Jim recommends Terro ant dust, available at
Ace Hardware. Common area problems can be reported to Dean
Hess.
One Week Left to Trim Tall Palms

(antiquated, but not incorrect) need to be trimmed by next Sunday,
June 30. Trees left untrimmed after June 30 will be

Bird Food that Rodents Hate
Love the experience of hearing and seeing local cardinals,
quail, finches, and grosbeaks in your backyard but wary of
attracting rodents with the seed? Check out hulled bird seed
with a capsacian coating. Try a bag in your feeders. Rodents
will give it one star and move on to a better restaurant.
Birds, unfazed by the hot pepper taste, will feel pampered as
they enjoy a meal without the work of cracking the seeds.
Return to your regular feed after finishing the bag of capsacian.
Monday Morning Memo Submission Deadline
Have an EE organization item that needs to appear in the
next MMM? Please submit your information by Friday
evening. You don't
need to write the article, just give us the facts. If an
urgent, last-minute situation arises after the deadline,
please call to let us know you're sending information.
